Private investors are becoming increasingly attractive for German SMEs. Particularly when it comes to financing growth, family businesses and SMEs are increasingly considering the option of private equity. Our Managing Partner Christian Wewezow was interviewed as a medium-sized business expert for the specialist article "Der beste Partner für mein Unternehmen- Gründer setzen auf Private Equity" ("The best partner for my company - founders rely on private equity") by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG on how cooperation with financial investors can succeed.
The next generation of entrepreneurs in particular is more likely to think about the possibilities of working with private equity investors in order to be able to scale more quickly. Minority stakes are becoming more interesting in this context, as few entrepreneurs are willing to relinquish control.
