How are successful SMEs positioned and what factors contribute to their success? Christian Wewezow, Managing Partner of Clockwise Consulting GmbH, addresses these questions in his editorial: "What makes SMEs successful: success principles of the best companies".
The editorial was published as part of the study "Germany's SMEs 2020 - how small and medium-sized enterprises are working on their success of tomorrow" by the RKW Competence Centre on 23.11.2020.
The key figures and success factors of successful companies that won awards in the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" competition between 2010 and 2020 were analysed and examined in greater detail.
In his analysis of the key figures and success factors, Christian Wewezow, as an SME expert, provides interesting insights on topics such as corporate financing, succession, leadership, digitalisation and innovation. The identified success principles are intended to give new practical impetus to traditional family businesses and mechanical engineers as well as innovative industrial companies. In addition, start-ups are to be inspired to become the medium-sized company of tomorrow.
The present results offer exciting insights into the strategy, organisation and transformation of leading SMEs.
