With the HHL Digitalspace, the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management creates a platform for its graduates and external start-ups interested in bringing a digital business model to market, and helps them with their financing and growth. In the new podcast episode "Founder Guide", our Managing Partner Christian Wewezow talks to HHL Digitalspace about his own start-up experiences, regional differences in the start-up scene and what advantages start-ups and SMEs can gain from cooperations.  For a successful cooperation between SMEs and startups, some general conditions must be right. In our experience, when working with SMEs and startups, particular attention should be paid to compatibility in terms of content and values. The values, interests and objectives of the leaders and both companies should be highly compatible or match each other. Because if the values and personalities of both companies do not harmonise, the desired synergy effects of a cooperation cannot be generated.  You can find the entire podcast on: [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/episode/1vJLEwEFavvr3Z4btk9dE0) [Soundcloud](https://soundcloud.com/digital-space-hhl/13-startup-know-how-renews-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-w-christian-wewezow-startify) [Apple Podcasts](https://podcasts.apple.com/de/podcast/13-startup-trifft-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-w-christian/id1542205233?i=1000520570370)   ### Share: [Share on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://www.startify.de/en/media/startup-meets-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-podcast-des-hhl-digitalspace&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook) [Share on LinkedIn](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://www.startify.de/en/media/startup-meets-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-podcast-des-hhl-digitalspace&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkedin) [Share on X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https://www.startify.de/en/media/startup-meets-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-podcast-des-hhl-digitalspace&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&url=https://www.startify.de/en/media/startup-meets-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-podcast-des-hhl-digitalspace&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Startup%20meets%20Mittelstand%20-%20Podcast%20of%20HHL%20Digitalspace) [Blogpost](https://www.startify.de/en/media/tag/blogpost), [Corporate Innovation](https://www.startify.de/en/media/tag/corporate-innovation) ## Sammy Weber [sammy.weber@startify.de](mailto:sammy.weber@startify.de) ## Related posts ![startifytransparent](https://www.startify.de/hs-fs/hubfs/startifytransparent.png?width=200&name=startifytransparent.png "startifytransparent") **KONTAKT Startify GmbH**  Bei den Mühren 1 20457 Hamburg +49 (0) 40 238 35148 | **JENA** Neugasse 13 07743 Jena | **HEIDELBERG** Bergheimer Str. 147 69115 Heidelberg | | --- | --- |   [Follow us on Facebook](https://www.linkedin.com/company/startify-gmbh/) [Follow us on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/startify.consulting/) [Follow us on Facebook](mailto:info@startify.de) Copyright © 2026 Startify GmbH [Impressum](https://www.startify.de/imprint?hsLang=en) [Datenschutz](https://www.startify.de/datenschutzerklaerung?hsLang=en) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Sammy Weber", "url" : "https://www.startify.de/en/media/author/sammy-weber" }, "dateModified" : "2023-01-09T12:11:33.747Z", "datePublished" : "2023-01-05T14:39:25.000Z", "headline" : "Startup meets Mittelstand - Podcast of HHL Digitalspace", "image" : [ "https://www.startify.de/hubfs/lightbulb-1246589_1920-1024x682.jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://www.startify.de/en/media/startup-meets-mittelstand-das-feuer-nutzen-podcast-des-hhl-digitalspace", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://www.startify.de/hubfs/Logo_Startify_black_slim-2.png" }, "name" : "Startify GmbH" } } ```
